Thank you
U.S. Forest Service

As part of its responsible business plan, Citizen Verizon, Verizon partnered with the National Forest Foundation to thank individuals who have dedicated their professional careers to protecting America’s National Forests—the U.S. Forest Service personnel.

As the effects of climate change exacerbate wildfires and the impacts of COVID-19 spur an unprecedented increase in visitations, Forest Service staff continue to selflessly work and often put their lives in danger to ensure these public lands thrive now and for many generations to come.

In addition to sharing messages of support, encouragement, and thanks from Verizon’s employees, Verizon’s generous grant will plant 100,000 trees on National Forest lands. These native trees will help provide fresh air, clean water, and remove carbon from the environment.

We want to hear from you. Please take one minute to answer a few questions in our brief survey.

We invite you to share these messages of thanks from Verizon employees with your fellow wildland firefighters or any associations, clubs, groups, or teams who you believe would appreciate seeing them.

Dear Forest Rangers, I appreciate the work you do. You have a vast amount of land to cover and although I'm sure you cant get to it all, your patrolling of these areas help keep the forest beautiful. We are all well aware of how open land can be taken advantage of and because of your dedication to your work we can keep the forest mesmerizing.

Thank you to all the employees of the NFF and those who work to make the earth a richer and more prosperous place. We can all agree that every little bit helps and counts, even if it is data analytics or properly sorting our recycling. Living and working mindfully is kind and prosperous to all.

I learned that without your help flood waters would continue to rise and forest fires would burn out of control. I appreciate the effort it takes to navigate the rough terrain and take care of out forest. Thank you and please be safe.
