Thank you
U.S. Forest Service

As part of its responsible business plan, Citizen Verizon, Verizon partnered with the National Forest Foundation to thank individuals who have dedicated their professional careers to protecting America’s National Forests—the U.S. Forest Service personnel.

As the effects of climate change exacerbate wildfires and the impacts of COVID-19 spur an unprecedented increase in visitations, Forest Service staff continue to selflessly work and often put their lives in danger to ensure these public lands thrive now and for many generations to come.

In addition to sharing messages of support, encouragement, and thanks from Verizon’s employees, Verizon’s generous grant will plant 100,000 trees on National Forest lands. These native trees will help provide fresh air, clean water, and remove carbon from the environment.

Dear Forest Service Member, Thank you for everything that you do, not only for Mother Earth but to ensure that future generations will have the chance to experience the wonders of her forests. Our grandparents taught us about what the forests provide, which is everything from food to shelter, but because of you we know how to protect them

Thank you so much for taking care of all of us by maintaining our natural resources which help us all . It's important to replace those that don't heal from diseases, and replace the ones that die away. I appreciate all you do for us.
