Thank you
U.S. Forest Service

As part of its responsible business plan, Citizen Verizon, Verizon partnered with the National Forest Foundation to thank individuals who have dedicated their professional careers to protecting America’s National Forests—the U.S. Forest Service personnel.

As the effects of climate change exacerbate wildfires and the impacts of COVID-19 spur an unprecedented increase in visitations, Forest Service staff continue to selflessly work and often put their lives in danger to ensure these public lands thrive now and for many generations to come.

In addition to sharing messages of support, encouragement, and thanks from Verizon’s employees, Verizon’s generous grant will plant 100,000 trees on National Forest lands. These native trees will help provide fresh air, clean water, and remove carbon from the environment.

Thank you for all your services each day preserving our livelihood for many generations to come. Your efforts have not gone unnoticed. I live in an area prone to wild fires and I've seen first hand of the hard work to clear the brushes. Without your services humans and animals would suffer. Trees convert carbon dioxide into oxygen and remove harmful pollutants from the air, acting as a natural air filter.

we take for granted the beauty around us that we have been blessed with to enjoy; we forget sometimes the ones behind the scenes who help to keep it that way; because of you, we can pass our memories on to our loved ones; thank you doesn't seem enough
