Thank you
U.S. Forest Service

As part of its responsible business plan, Citizen Verizon, Verizon partnered with the National Forest Foundation to thank individuals who have dedicated their professional careers to protecting America’s National Forests—the U.S. Forest Service personnel.

As the effects of climate change exacerbate wildfires and the impacts of COVID-19 spur an unprecedented increase in visitations, Forest Service staff continue to selflessly work and often put their lives in danger to ensure these public lands thrive now and for many generations to come.

In addition to sharing messages of support, encouragement, and thanks from Verizon’s employees, Verizon’s generous grant will plant 100,000 trees on National Forest lands. These native trees will help provide fresh air, clean water, and remove carbon from the environment.

Thank you for your service and all the work you've put into protecting our US Forests. A severely under appreciated role as you are protecting over 40% of our lands, especially during the summer and all the wildlife associated with it. Thank you for helping restoring nature back to balance. I live in NJ and hope there will be some additional trees planted here so that the air is made fresh and the birds, bugs, and forest animals have an eco system where they can enjoy their lives.

I'd like to say i am grateful for your work and effort for the wildlife and preserving the forest. We need the forest to be kept clean and healthy. Our tech driven world makes it difficult for the world to focus on anything outside of technology.

You are appreciated and I want to say thank you!
