Thank you
U.S. Forest Service

As part of its responsible business plan, Citizen Verizon, Verizon partnered with the National Forest Foundation to thank individuals who have dedicated their professional careers to protecting America’s National Forests—the U.S. Forest Service personnel.

As the effects of climate change exacerbate wildfires and the impacts of COVID-19 spur an unprecedented increase in visitations, Forest Service staff continue to selflessly work and often put their lives in danger to ensure these public lands thrive now and for many generations to come.

In addition to sharing messages of support, encouragement, and thanks from Verizon’s employees, Verizon’s generous grant will plant 100,000 trees on National Forest lands. These native trees will help provide fresh air, clean water, and remove carbon from the environment.

I'm so grateful that Verizon is planting trees to help beautify this great country of ours and I am grateful for all you do to upkeep and maintain. We all too often take for granted the need to maintain this earth of hours and I am grateful for all of you for playing such an integral role in all of this.

Thank you

Dear U.S. Forest Service personnel,

Thank you for all that you do in protecting & preserving our national forests. I have first hand experience dealing with the effects of a wildfire while living in California, and while wildfires have become prevalent recently, I'm truly grateful to those that are ready to risk their lives & take action.
