Thank you
U.S. Forest Service

As part of its responsible business plan, Citizen Verizon, Verizon partnered with the National Forest Foundation to thank individuals who have dedicated their professional careers to protecting America’s National Forests—the U.S. Forest Service personnel.

As the effects of climate change exacerbate wildfires and the impacts of COVID-19 spur an unprecedented increase in visitations, Forest Service staff continue to selflessly work and often put their lives in danger to ensure these public lands thrive now and for many generations to come.

In addition to sharing messages of support, encouragement, and thanks from Verizon’s employees, Verizon’s generous grant will plant 100,000 trees on National Forest lands. These native trees will help provide fresh air, clean water, and remove carbon from the environment.

Thank you ladies and gentlemen for this valuable service to our great country. It was John Muir who said "The National Parks: America's best Idea" and without your service, care and dedication where would many of these parks be today?

In the climate, environmental, political and overall financial, that exists in the US today, it must require you to do more with less support. Know that there are people who see you and appreciate that you continue your work despite all the noise in the world today. Keep up the good work!!!!

Thank you so much for your selfless efforts to restore the Forest and Grasslands that may have been destroyed by wildfires or another natural occurrence. It's good to know a little more about what the NFF mission is. I can assume that this selfless mission is not easy to protect our ecosystem, Thank you.

I want to give a big thank you to the National Forest Foundation, I am happy that the team is helping our environment with planting more trees. We need this service everywhere to have good breathable air, and the resources that trees give us is so plentiful. I am proud to work for a company that backs the environment the way Verizon does!

I currently live in Ohio, but am originally from California. My favorite national forest is the redwood forest in northern Cali. I am so grateful for that forest and believe that everyone should get a chance to see it at least once in a lifetime. Thank you so much for protecting it so that this is something that everyone has an opportunity to see.
